How to Measure Your Windows

How to Measure Your Windows for the Perfect Fit

Getting the right measurements is the most important step to ensuring your blinds fit perfectly. Follow this simple guide before placing your order.

Step 1: Choose Your Mount Type

Inside Mount — Blinds fit inside the window frame for a clean, built-in look.
Outside Mount — Blinds are mounted on the wall or outside the frame, ideal for covering larger areas or adding privacy.

Step 2: Measure Width

Inside Mount: Measure the width of the window opening at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest measurement. We will make the necessary deductions for proper fit.

Outside Mount: Measure the desired width of the blind. Add 2–3 inches on each side beyond the window frame for maximum light blockage.

Step 3: Measure Height

Inside Mount: Measure the height of the window opening on the left, center, and right. Use the longest measurement.

Outside Mount: Measure from where you want the blind to start (top of frame or above) to where you want it to end (sill or below).

Step 4: Order Your Size

Enter your exact measurements when selecting your product size. If you are between sizes, round down for inside mount and round up for outside mount.
